Freedom of Speech Day One

Today we'll begin by discussing and brainstorming the meaning of having "freedom of speech". When finished, we'll try to put our ideas into real life scenarios by analyzing these CASE STUDIES.  In groups, students will discuss each of the case studies and take notes about their conclusions in this CHART. We'll share our responses as a class.
For homework, students will read and take notes or annotate this packet: Principles of the First Amendment.
