Intro to Free Speech in Schools

Today we began by exploring each other's blog entries for this week.
We then discussed the film that we watched last week, considering whether Ward Churchill had the right to say whatever he wanted and whether Chase Harper was rightfully suspended.
We finished by introducing the Tinker v. Des Moines case. The entire linked packet (except for the "How Does a School Identify 'Disruptive Speech'" activity) needs to be read and annotated by your last class period this week.
