As we continue to engage with policies, plans and other stories from the new administration and Congress, and as there are more allegations of "fake news" or "alternative facts" it's important to continue to explore where we get our information from and how we interpret it. The graphic above is one person's interpretation of bias and depth of information in the news media. Whether you agree with the categorizations or not, it's a good starting point to help us explore how different sources provide information and to analyze them for bias, ultimately allowing us to determine truth.
Thus, your task during this period is to use the graphic above to research and read articles about some of the major news stories of the past several days. Please fill out the worksheet below.
